Generator are a network of mobile music workshops that run across the South East. We run bespoke workshops with a variety of musical outputs including drumming workshops, choirs, songwriting, notation and music technology.

Digital Music at Generator

At Generator Music we explore many different types of composition. We use a variety of instruments to create our music, and have more recently been using a set of electronic instruments called VOLT. These instruments were designed by Jessica Aslan at STEIM, and we are creating new ones each week. Some of the instruments include game controllers, acoustic music balls and drum pads.

Digital composition and performance at Generator Music includes group compositions, sound design, sound mapping, guided-storytelling, podcasts and production.
